The Spartan Marching Band Entrance
After being a member of the Spartan Marching Band for 4 years, I have had the privilege of creating various content including the "Entrance Video" for the SMB for more than a decade. The "Entrance Video" starts the pregame festivities in Spartan Stadium to begin the game. Spartan Stadium first got massive jumbotron screens in 2012 and that is when the SMB decided to GO BIG! While I was a member of the SMB, the legacy of excellence was engrained into who I became as a professional.
New Beginnings
This year's video theme is "Beginning". It is a new beginning for Spartan Football lovers everywhere as this new season marks the first with our new head coach, Jonathan Smith. However, this is not a new beginning for the Spartan Marching Band so we wanted to invoke the feeling of the "calm before the storm". the preparation and get-in-the-zone mentality that happens with every member as they put on the uniform and prepare for game day.

A Legacy of Excellence
In years past, we have focused on other themes that make the Spartan Marching Band unique. The amount of physical preparation that goes into being excellent is showcased in this video. This was also the first year we ever showed the SMB in practice and not only focusing on performance. This video was worked on in collaboration with the team at Render Studios.
